f(x) - density function, then f(x)=F'(x), so

f(x)=(0.25x+0.5)'=0.25, -2≤x<1

f(x)=(0.5x+0.25)'=0.5, 1≤x<1.5

f(x)=0, otherwise

a) P(X>-1)=1-P(X≤-1)=1-F(-1)=1-0.25*(-1)-0.5=0.75

b) P(X<1.3)=F(1.3)=0.5*1.3+0.25=0.9

c) P(-1.5≤X≤1.8)=F(1.8)-F(-1.5)=1-0.25*(-1.5)-0.5=0.875

d) P(x<1.5)=F(1.5)=1
